Course Aid: Water and sports drink on course.
For Marathon: 15 aid stations, (four with gels) 
For Half: 7 aid stations, (two with gels). 
For 10K: Three aid stations, one with sports drink.
For 5K: One aid station, water only.

Best Spectator Viewing: Best locations: Mile 5, 8. Miles 18, 21. More information, here.

Certification: All distances are USATF certified.  More information, Here.
 
Running Surface: Paved 25-foot wide trail

Average Weather: 45-60 degees, partly cloudy

Wheelchair racers: Allowed and encouraged.

Strollers: Allowed, but must start in back of pack. 

Walker Friendly: Yes 

Course Time Limit for Marathon & Half: 6-1/2 hours

Course Time Limit for 10K, 5K: 5-1/2 hours

Start times:

1-Mile Walk11:00 AM
Chip timing will be used for all distances, but not for the 1-Mile Walk.


Award Depth: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall M/F (in each race distance), and MASTERS 1st place M/F (in each race distance).
Age Group Awards: None
Age Group Designation included in Results: 10 year age groups.

2012 Special Cash Awards:
$100 for any female to run a sub-three-hour marathon.
$100 for any male to run a sub-2:30 marathon.
Also:
$100 for male and female marathon winners. (Can be combined with above awards, when applicable).
$75 for male and female half-marathon winners.
(All of this in addition to race schwag and potential gift certificates given).

Finisher's Medals: Half & Full Marathon finishers get huge medals.  10K finishers get dog-tag medals.  5K finishers: No medals.
