Attention all would-be Dirt Deities and Mud Mavens!

How would you like to be a card-carrying, full-fledged NUT?

Requirements for "Basic" NUT Club Membership

ü      Finish at least three (official) off-pavement Trail Races in one 12-month period.

ü      Finish any Trail Ultra-marathon of at least 50 Kilometers.

ü      Participate in trail maintenance or trail building.

ü      Volunteer for a trail race event.

Do you have what it takes to be a Trail NUT?  You’ve got to earn your NUT Status!

How?  Details are below:

Finish at least three (official) off-pavement Trail Races in one 12-month period.

These can be any group’s trail races, but they have to be official races and on un-paved, natural surfaces of dirt, rock, and / or gravel.  (A race on dirt or gravel roads qualifies, too).

Finish any Trail Ultra-marathon of at least 50 Kilometers.

This can be any 50K ultra trail race, anywhere in the world…but you have to finish it.

Participate in trail maintenance or trail building.

You too, can “earn your dirt” and do your part for trail running.  There are opportunities for this type of work with trail running groups, many parks & rec. departments, or with mountain-biking groups.

Volunteer for any trail race event.

This doesn’t even have to be one of our events, but it has to be an off-pavement trail-running, mountain biking, adventure race, or multi-sport event.

Trail NUTs will have special status...like free entry into certain races and they'll receive some free Nerd schwag.

Stay Tuned for more information.
