Currently, we are meeting at Shawnee Mission Park (Marina
parking lot), at 6:00 p.m., every Monday. We run a 4.5-mile loop slowly.

What is a Mud Babe?
A Mud Babe is a woman who is not afraid to get dirty or muddy, while running on a trail.
In fact, she may even stop to give another trail-runner a "Mud Tattoo" along the way. It's the tribal thing
to do.
The terms "Mud Babe" and "Mud Tattoo" were first uttered by Sophia "Original Mud Babe" Wharton. She is very generous with her "mud-tat" habit. She was also very instrumental in helping to "tweak" the new
Mud Babe design, (by Jason Crosby).
All Mud Babes are generous with their time helping others...whether that help involves getting another
fledgling trailrunner through their first long run, or doing work for a worthy cause.
