That's the spirit of these two races, which are both held on the same course, at separate times, in "polar-opposite" seasons.  The "Fire" version is held on July 12, at the same time and place as the Psycho Psummer Trail Runs.  The "Ice" version is held on February 9, at the same time and place as the Psycho WyCo Run Toto Run.

 

The course for both of these 5-Kilometer races is tough.  We can tell you with confidence that they are the toughest 5K races in the Midwest.  This, combined with the typical seasonal conditions, can make for a "gruelingly good time."  But remember: This is Kansas, so how tough could it really be???
