These two races, are both held on the same course at separate times, in "polar-opposite" seasons. The "Fire" version
is held in Julyand the "Ice" version is held in January..
The course for both of these 5-Kilometer races is tough. We can tell you with confidence that they are
the toughest 5K races in the Midwest. This, combined with the typical seasonal conditions, can make for a "gruelingly
good time." But remember: This is Kansas, so how tough could it really be???
