This is a fun trail-running event with something for everybody. There's a 5K that's perfect for first-time trailrunners. The 10K is fun, but challenging. The Half-marathon is a one-loop course of awesomeness!
The trails that you'll be running on are true "single-track" trail; fully-wooded (and shaded), not too hilly, and fairly technical.

This race is a lot of fun, and many Trail Nerds started running on trails, because of this little event.  We moved the start to within the State Park in 2011, to help with State Park funding.  There is a $5 entry fee (per car), to enter the State Park, but it is a worthwhile cause, to support this wonderful State Park!

All entrants get a really nice tee-shirt, and a mileage-specific oval finisher's sticker. Also: Everybody gets wonderful, free, downloadable photos done by Mile 90 Photography!

All Half-Marathon finishers get a large, uniquely-designed finisher's medal.  NEW: All 10K finishers also get a big medal!

Packet pickup location will be announced a month prior to the race.
There will also be packet pickup on race day, starting an hour prior to the event.

For you Speed Demons: There will be a $100 cash prize for 1st Place Male & Female, for the Half-Marathon event.

By the way, the Half-marathon course was a little longish, last year.  It will be right on 13.1 miles for 2014.

This is a fun trail-running event with something for everybody.  There's a 5K that's perfect for first-time trailrunners.  The 10K is fun, but challenging.  The Half-marathon is a one-loop course of awesomeness!

The trails that you'll be running on are true "single-track" trail; fully-wooded (and shaded), not to hilly, and fairly technical.

Because it's harder to pass on a narrow trail, we don't allow the use of headphones or earbuds, in this race.
Also, you'll need to carry a hydration device or water bottle with you, since the unstaffed aid stations won't have cups.  (There are staffed and unstaffed aid stations, about 1.5 to 2 miles apart).

The Trail Nerds help to fund the trails that you are running on and the State Park that you are running in, as well.

Rick and/or Kristi Mayo will be there, to take your photos.  Free photos will be posted to his site at http://mile90.smugmug.com/
