Park in the shelter #1 lot.
This is one of our favorite
rocky trail systems to run on. A local trail advocacy group, ERTA, has spent a lot of time building and maintaining these trails. Please be kind to the trails and park.
Please step aside for Mountain Bike riders, if you are on the MTB trails.
If you encounter a horse & rider, do not surprise or run past horses without the rider's permission...you
may spook the horse.
Do not litter and leave no trace. There is a porta-potty in
the parking lot.
Directions to Park: From Kansas City:
From the southwest corner of the I-435 loop, K10 west to Kill Creek Road.
Left, (south) on Kill Creek Road to 115th. Right (west) on 115th to Homestead. Left on Homestead, park entrance in on the
right. Park in Shelter 1 parking lot.
From Olathe and points south take 135th street west to Homestead. Right
on Homestead.
PLEASE WATCH YOUR SPEED WHEN YOU EXIT 10 HIGHWAY AND ONTO KILL CREEK
ROAD...THE SHERIFF IS WATCHING (WITH RADAR).
